We've had this knife set for a little over a month now & I am just as pleased as when I bought it. The edges are sharp & easily cut through everything (watermelon rind used to be hard to cut through with our old knife set, but not anymore!) Our kitchen appliances are black & stainless steel & this knife set matches everything perfectly. The handles are comfortable & have a nice weight to them. We have not had a single problem with rust (and these are used daily), but we do hand wash them so this probably helps. Very happy with my purchase!

Update after 1+ year: We still have only hand washed this set & all the knives still look new & are just as sharp as the first day we got them. There are absolutely no rust spots & all the handles are still secure. My personal favorite is the Santoku knife; I love how the top of the knife is curved so you can press down comfortably & rock it back & forth while dicing. With any high-quality knife set I think hand washing is the only way to go if you want to keep your knives in the best possible shape. I'm thrilled that this set has held up so well!

I don't really care for the "Atomic function" of the clock. I did not even install the small radio component that you hang outside on the wall near the clock. Time does not change except for when summer time begins and ends. I don't except so much from a clock and if you don't use the "Atomic function", you will not have to deal with time changing on its own and other annoying issues.

I bought this clock as a replacement for a clock of the same type from the same manufacturer that I had owned for a number of years before it finally stopped working. This is a very accurate clock that resets itself so it is my "master" for lining up all the other clocks in the house. I like the attractive design of this new clock as it fits in well with my kitchen decor. But the face area on this new clock is unfortunately smaller than the previous model. I was accustomed to being able to read the old clock from a much wider area of the kitchen and family room. So that is a loss in convenience.
One problem area I always had with my previous clock was the outdoor remote temperature sensor. It was sometimes quite accurate and sometimes wildly inaccurate. It had a tendency to quit working altogether even with relatively fresh batteries. I know I replaced it at least once. I can't remember if I replaced it again before I gave up on it. I have installed the remote for this new clock in a different location and created a little shelter for it by mounting it inside a small birdhouse. Right now it is working very well. Whether it will prove more accurate and durable than the old model time will tell.

This grater/zester worked so well for zesting lemon and was so much easier to clean than I had expected. It is really sharp and I would suggest keeping it in the sleeve it comes in to keep it that way and keep your hands safe.

When I first got this grater I thought it felt very cheap. It's very light and the handle seems to be hollow plastic. It just feels poorly made, but it's not. It's actually surprisingly sturdy, and has handled everything I have thrown at it brilliantly. I love being able to grate in just the right amount of ginger or nutmeg without having to have space on the counter for another tool and a bowl.

Most other graters I've used tend to do well for larger end results like shredding cheddar cheese or potatoes, but when it gets to finely grating items, they either tend to make small chunks, or are just too large for things like ginger; plus half of what you are grating ends up stuck to it. Not this bad boy. The fine grating surface actually cuts into tiny slices which leaves you with a much more fluffy end result, and it tends to be a lot more uniform. It's like comparing shaved ice to crushed or chopped ice. When you are done grating, just flip it over and slide your finger down the back side of it and everything slides off into the pot.

To clean it, just a gentle rinse will do the trick most of the time, but if you want to wash it, just chuck it in the dishwasher and you're all set. It's a $12 grater, not that $150 chef's knife you treat like gold. No need to go to the trouble of hand washing or being overly careful. If you get just one year's use out of this it is money well spent, although they generally last much, MUCH longer if stored in the protective sleeve it ships in.

I have oily hair and love this shampoo. It works great - cleans well and controls the oil throughout the day. The price on Amazon 9now about $26 for a 3 pack) is outrageous - I just bought a bottle for <$4. Definitely will continue to buy - but not from here.

I am completely in love with this shampoo. I've only been using it for a week, so can't attest to the long term benefits of tea tree oil on my oily scalp, but so far I couldn't be happier with it. It cleans thoroughly but gently, and smells like fresh lemons. Lathers wonderfully.

It is a little hard to get out of the tube, but I think that's because the opening is so small. I'd suggest using a pair of scissors or a sharp knife to enlarge the hole a bit.

The conditioner is excellent too, only need to use the tiniest bit to get good results, so in the end it is quite economical.

My little girl kept asking for this stuffed animal for like a year. We kept trying to make sure that she understood that the bear was a "bad" character in the movie, but she didn't care. She still wanted it. We got it for her for her birthday, and she absolutely loves him! I think it was her favorite birthday present. The whole scent thing is not the greatest. I thought it kind of stunck, and the smell does seem to wear off, so don't buy it for that feature.

As with most Oxo products the design for this thermometer is top notch. Having the probe store inside the unit like a stylus and wrapping the cord around the outside edge makes storage a sinch. Problem is the probe doesn't read accurately. I placed this probe in the Thanksgiving turkey and within an hour it was reading 170 degrees. I used an instant read thermometer to confirm that this was an inaccurate reading and removed the probe. Once removed and cooled the thermometer still read 120 degrees.
I turned the unit on a day or so later and it appeared to have corrected itself. I tried it three more times. The first two it worked fine and the third it was back to being way off. Bottom line is the unit is unreliable at best.

Previously, I had bought the Sony Babycall based on recommendations from others. One the first night we used it, that monitor woke me up all night making loud pops. I returned it and bought this based on the reviews.

This is a great monitor!

Pros:

No interference or static! The monitor never randomly turned on. When it did turn on, the sound was clear, not harsh or jarring. It sound just like the baby in the room.

There is a microphone sensitivity feature so you can adjust how much noise you want it to pick up. We were able to adjust it so it only picked up noise when she was waking up.

Built-in night light on the nursery unit. The glow from the night light is very soft, allowing me to see the baby but not wake her up.

Charging base for the parent unit. Other monitors just have the power cord which can fall behind furniture, so the charging base is a nice feature. Batteries are included for the parent unit.

Mute button. I didn't use this feature yet, but it is nice to be able to mute the monitor for 2 minutes while you checked on the baby without bothering your partner.

Great range. It works across the house with no problems. The other monitor would start beeping for being out of range if it was far away and something was in front of it.

Pros:

One negative might be that it is not secure, but, for us, we just turn it off in the morning. Since it is only activated with her noise it is not going to pick up much in the middle of the night.

We had another "best selling" monitor on Amazon previously and were kept up night after night because of the static. Any background noise would also be picked up by the previous monitor. The Angelcare monitor has been a life changer for us. It is definitely a little scary the first time you use it since there is dead silence unless our baby starts crying. We didnt want to be woken up by every little sound she made so this product has been the perfect for only notifying us when the baby is up and needs something. I highly recommend this product to parents looking for a good night's sleep. If you need to hear every sound your baby makes all night long to feel comfortable, then this product is not for you. LIFE changer for us though!

Most other monitors develop a static problem over time as they get older. I have never had a problem with this unit. I don't static and I have never had to change the frequency. It has impeccable range and is above average. We purchased this unit when we realized that the house we were living in was too big not to have one. I have had baby monitors before, but none of this quality. It is a well built model and I don't have any interference, even around my cell phone.

It's comfortable and works well. My only minor gripe is that the round foot rest (whatever it's called) slowly loosens up and slides down the shaft. Doesn't matter how hard I tighten it, it just happens. Not a big deal to re-tighten it every week or two, but something that could be improved.

I bought this chair because I wanted something that could be used with the taller benches that I have in my wood shop, and wanted something good quality rather than something cheap. The chair is made in Taiwan, which is generally a step up from Chinese made stuff.

The components appear generally good quality, and it's a comfortable chair. I am a large man at 230 lbs and the padding is thick and firm enough to support me well. I find the back support to be comfortable as well. Assembly was easy - I had my son who is relatively inexperienced mechanically assemble it and he had no difficulty at all.

I haven't had it long enough to judge the durability, but the initial impression is good.

No matter how hard I searched online, including on Flickr, I could not find any review or note that stated if the Small fit the Macbook Pro. The Timbuk2 website says it does but most review stated the Medium just fit it so I decided to try for myself as I wanted to get the smallest size possible. (I hate oversized bags). It fits perfectly! Its a little snug at first but after 2 days it seems to have relaxed a little and I am very happy with the fit and overall size compared to the medium which I also tried.

This is probably the most amazing bag that I have ever owned. I have had this bag for over two months and I am rarely without it and I have thrown almost everything at it that everyday life has. I have had it knocked off tables and had people trip over it and it has kept all of the things inside really safe. I have had many different messenger bags and backpacks and they start fraying or ripping after a a week or two. I see no signs of this happening. The money is well spent!

I just purchased these last night, Nov 1st, to use while playing BattleField 3 for xbox 360. These are my first headsets for online gaming and so far they are just OK...I dont think they are worth the $179 price...they seem to be basic wireless headsets with some built-in dsp (digital signal processing) presets..think equilizer for your stereo. Now for the Fun Stuff . From their website:

"The EFB also comes with a "Field Supplies" card, featuring a unique code to unlock access to an exclusive Turtle Beach / CoD: MW3 mini-site where you will find:

* Access to exclusive downloadable artwork
* Discounts on Turtle Beach swag
* Exclusive offers from Turtle Beach and partner companies for deals on MW3 content and other items that you can't get anywhere else
* ...and much more!"

I went to their website and accessed the MW3 "special" area. " [...] " and looked at the "exclusive" content. The only items that are on that page are
* Ear Force Bravo Enhanced Audio Preset Manager Software theres EarForce Delta also, but thats it)
* Additional Call of Duty: MW3 Enhanced Audio Presets for the Ear Force Delta
* Turtle Beach Apparel Promo Code
* Turtle Beach Call of Duty: MW3 PC Wallpaper / Screensavers

With the product description about programmable presets, I was thinking I would be able to customize the presets...WRONG... I install the software, but the "Additional" presets I downloaded are the SAME as the ones already installed with the Manager software..nothing programmable at all. Where is all the "Exclusive" content? Wallpapers of the headsets and discounts for buying clothing?? There are no additional presets like the PX3 has. All that can be done is cycle through the presets.

Pros:
* wireless
* flexible boom mike
* clear speech with no background hiss and decent game sound, but it can get a little muddled when a lot is going on where you cannot tell where even a helicopter is.
* separate Chat and Game sound volume controls
* rechargable lithium-polymer battery
* lightweight
* the headband has a springsteel band (not sure how far it goes into the earcup legs)

Cons:
* Overpriced - nearly $80-90 more compared to a wired version. Probably about $50 more than a wired dolby 5.1 version.
* lightweight feels kind of cheap for the price
* fabric earcup material is a little irritating
* Lackluster "Exclusive" content
* rechargable lithium-polymer battery pack does not appear to be replaceable.
* Programmable "Pre-sets" are just presets...nothing programmable about them. You can cycle through the presets by pressing the preset button on the headset...that is it. I was unable to use any of the other headset presets I downloaded from Turtle Beach.
* Seems to be only simulated surround sound, as the wireless transmitter uses the standard Red/White RCA jacks for the input. They are NOT dolby 5.1/7.1, that requires their DSS accessory for an additional $89!
* For being wireless, there are a LOT of cables -
* USB charging cable for headset
* USB cable for powering the transmitter
* audio splitter cable from source to transmitter (RCA to 3.5mm jack)
* xbox306 talkback audio cable from headset to controller so you can talk.

Result? You may want to consider the Xbox 360 Wireless Headset X41 by Voyetra/Turtle Beach with Dolby Headphone 7.1 Surround Sound instead...its $20 cheaper and is true 7.1 DSS.


Turtle Beach TBS-4240-01 Review by Paul Braswell (NORWICH, NEW YORK, US)

I pre-ordered it and wanted to give it some use before reviewing it.
I've been using the same X11 headset for 2 years now and felt it was a good chance to upgrade.
First off I like the presets but you can't add additional presets or change the ones already there apparently.
It's not a big deal to me because I like the ones there but considering its the same thing as the PX3 headset you think you'd be able to have more control.
A big reason I had bought my X11's in the first place and not the X31's or X41's was because I hated the idea of having to replace batteries.
Being able to recharge my headset while I played was a highlight for me.
All the buttons are well placed on the headset and I got used to using them without being able to see them within a few days.
This headset is definitely a little overpriced but if your a big CoD fan like I have been the last 12 years. They're a nice upgrade.

My Pros
Feels just as good on my head if not better than the X11's.
Presets seem to work well with CoD games.
Sound in general is great.
Aux works greats so I can record on my PVR and listen to music.
Mic isn't over sensitive.

My Negatives
Can't alter presets
Overpriced

If you care about presets or think it'll bother you get the PX3's. They're basically the same headset.
If you're a diehard CoD fan go for these. <3


Turtle Beach TBS-4240-01 Review by Vic W. Li "Strider Hiryu" (Portland, OR USA)

I see there's no review on this yet so I'm gonna do a very quick review based on only my 1st weekend with this headset. I'm using this on my Xbox 360. I'm no a PC person. My PS3 is dead so I cannot test it out (I wanted to see if it worked for my Blu Ray movies). I will update this review from time to time. I've owned the X11, X31, and now MW3 Bravo. I love this headset. Sounds awesome. Probably cause I also own the Earforce DSS 7.1 Sound Processor. I don't really know the big differences between the combo of what I have and the Delta version. This retails here for $170 and the Delta is $300. I'd rather buy the DSS than spending an extra $130 but that's just me. I got my Bravo on sale at my local dept store for $150 so I think I got a nice deal. I'm going to try and point out stuff that's not already stated on the descriptions.

- Mic mute button - It's now on the headset itself rather than on the wire. I'd rather have it on the wire cause now all of the buttons are on the headset now which makes it harder for me to access it.

- Mic chat volume button - It's also on the headset itself too instead of on the wire. However, it's now 2 clicky buttons (like a cell phone)instead of the dial. I like it better this way cause the dial was too sensitive for me.
***11/10/11 Update*** Once in a while when I'm chatting w/ my friends/family on chat. I hear a minor echo form them. Not a bad 3 second delayed repeating echo. It's like they're talking to me from a bathroom. It's not really bad but it's there. There's even a sticker on the chat aux cord that states if you hear an echo to unplug and plug it back in...which didn't solve it for me.

- Presets - They're now 2 buttons. One for the main (normal) sound and the other is to select the programmed presets. Both buttons are small rectangular shaped instead of the older tiny circular buttons from the older headsets. I like it better this way. It comes with 8 presets. 3 for campaign (1-enhancer, 2-bass boost, 3-high frequency boost) and 5 for multiplayer (4-enhancer, 5-footsteps focus, 6-bass boost, 7-amplifier, 8-precision). I can't tell which I'm on though. The only way I can assume is if I press the main preset button, it should reset to 0. I then press the preset button only assuming it goes in numerical order from there. When I find out if I'm right or not, I'll update this review.
***11/10/11 Update*** It's still hard to tell which preset you're on. It beeps when you press it for the 1st 4 presets and the beeps quieter for the last 4 presets. Doesn't really help me.

- Game volume - Just wanna state it's still a dial and not buttons

- Rechargeable battery - This is one of the main reasons why I got this. I'm assuming this will be a lot better than using batteries since it should last longer (10 hours). There is now a usb port on the headset. You can now charge the headset when you're not playing or while playing. I don't know if it'll beep or give you a warning if it needs to be charged. I just got this but I'll update my review when it happens. I charged it using a regular power source and it worked fine doing it that way. It comes with a LONG usb cord. It's over 13 ft long (I used measuring tape to find out). I didn't know why but then I thought about it, it's gives you the option to connect the usb from where you're using the headset to your console/sensor. This usb cord is marked with a sticker that it's used for charging and it cannot be used for data transferring.

- Chat auxiliary cable cord - This is the cord that connects your headset to your controller. I think it's shorter than normal. It's only about 3 feet long. I like a little more slack while I'm still chatting and grabbing a snack or a drink from the kitchen. I wish it was maybe a foot or 2 longer. There's also a stick attached to mark it. It states if you hear an echo to plug in both sides the cord (weird).

- Sensor - Simple. you switch between using it for PS3, PC, or Xbox 360. This is the 1st sensor I've seen that there's no clear plastic on the front cover with a red light on. I don't know if that's better or not. There is a usb port on the the side of it. It's for charging your headset (using the 13 ft long usb cord). It's a nice option for people that don't want more wire clutter on your console.
***11/10/11 Update*** When I turn off my Xbox 360, the sensor's green little light in the front still blinks. It doesn't stop. I don't know if it's a good idea or not. I just unplug the usb cord just in case and plus it's annoying.

- Wireless - As you know it's wireless. So far there have been not cutting off or crackling sounds like happened time to time on my X31 headset. Again, I've only used it this weekend so I'll update this as time progresses.

***11/10/11 Update*** - Bang for your buck - It's a little overpriced. The X41 has 7.1 Surround Sound and is a lot cheaper. Again, I wanted the internal battery that can be charged. That still makes a huge difference to me. Also, the other Turtle Beach wireless headsets, such as the X31 and PX5, has annoying random crackling sounds and some sound cut offs (even when there's no much wireless stuff going on around its sensor). That has not happened to the Bravo headset.

Again, it sounds better than my previous Turtle Beach headsets. The atmosphere on the sound, music, surrounding explosions, vehicles, running/footsteps, reloading, gun fire, etc on Battlefield 3 multiplayer and campaign sounds so awesome. I think it's a nice alternative for people who can't afford getting the Delta. Just don't forget to pick up the DSS with it.
***11/10/11 Update*** Been playing a lot of MW3 since the midnight launch. Sounds just as good as playing Battlefield 3. It's not worse or better than using it with other great FPS games. There's not too much edge.

Graco 1780531 Review by Drifter

Overall I am quite happy with this stroller. It is light compared to other twin strollers I have owned and is easy to maneuver. It is easy to open but needs both hands to fold it. At first, I found it difficult to close it but with some practice (10-15 times), I was able to do it easily. It is a classic Graco sturdy product.

There are 2 reasons I did not give it 5 stars:

1. The bottom tray does not drop as shown in the pictures.

2. I would have liked this stroller to roll even when folded. It would make it easy to lug it for shorter distances (like at the airport or from car trunk to the curb etc.) where you don't want to go through the hassle of opening it and closing it for short distances.

Overall, this is a good product. The ride is very smooth and it's not much heavier than the travel system stollers. My complaint is if I put my 2 month old in the back with her carrier seat, I cannot see her. The parent tray/cupholder blocks my view of her. Not a deal breaker but kind of annoying for me.

Got this due to the constant snow storms we were getting that would dump over a foot/more of snow on L.I. Needed something that was easy to use, moderately priced, & of adequate length that would help get the snow off our roof & patio to stop/slow the progression of ice dams as well as take the excess snow & ice weight off other structures. Works like a charm! Simple to assemble (directions are self-explanatory; took about 7 mins to put everything together), lightweight, easy to use. If you've never used a roof rake before, it might take a little practice to get the "feel" for it but else wise it's a joy to use. Took me under 20 mins to do both the front & back of my house. Use caution if you have weak neck/shoulder/wrist muscles because you need them to maneuver/jockey the rake into position in the desired areas (the longer you make the extensions, the more dexterity & strength is required to navigate them). Haven't experienced any of the problems with this item that others unfortunately have. The extensions themselves are made of powder coated aluminum which makes them easy to handle with bare hands. The "rake" is actually a decent sized hard plastic shovel head that's curved just enough to offer a good scraping of snow off of whatever you're looking to remove it from. Each extension piece snaps tightly into the other after initial assembly is complete. If you're worried about the extension pieces possibly coming out (not saying they will but some users on here have experienced this happening & I would like to offer my mechanical expertise to help anyone who has run into this problem), my advice is to snap the pieces together first & then wrap compression tape around each jointed section to offer a more secure connection (you can cut the tape & remove it when you're done using the rake for the season) OR thread a bolt through the holes on each section & screw them in for a tight fit. My house is 1 story so the 16' reach is more than adequate for my needs but if your house is 2 stories or more you might need to buy the extra extensions available to give you added reach.

Also used this roof rake to remove excess snow & ice off the shrink wrap on our 30' boat. :)

Great product! Would definitely recommend this to anyone! The retailer was a pleasure to do business with too.

We had so much trouble trying to find a roof rake. It was like trying to find a 'tickle me elmo' way back when. Everytime I went to the local home improvement center, they said they had just sold out, it was on back order or "they're waitnig for the truck". What a blessing to find it online. It was worth the extra bucks to expedite the shipping. At once I had, it was a great relief to have that weight off my roof.

Seems like a near ideal compromise between strength and keeping it as light as possible.
Easy to add an extra pole if you need more reach. The plastic is sturdy enough. And the price is pretty darn good from Amazon. Very simple too assemble also.
